Patrick has momentarily calmed down. He’s running his hands along the coffin lid.
Caption: Stop. Stay calm. Think it through. There has to be away out.
Panel 2
Patrick is thrashing about in his coffin again.
Caption: Those idiots buried me alive! There’s no way out!
Patrick: HELP!
Panel 3
Overhead shot, bird’s eye view of a graveyard at night. Old tombstones, some of which are tilted on an angle, line up in rows. Two men are digging over a grave. Another is watching holding a burning torch aloft in his hand. There features are vague due to the height of the view.
Caption: Wait. What’s that noise? Sounds like something pounding the ground above me.

Close up of Patrick screaming furiously at the coffin lid.
Caption: My God, some digs above me!
Patrick: HELP! GET ME OUT OF HERE!
Panel 5
Inside the coffin it has grown slightly brighter as the dirt is being removed from above. Patrick is pounding on the lid again. It is cracking under the force of blows.
Patrick: LET ME OUT YOU FOOLS!
Panel 6
Enough of the dirt has been removed above that Patrick is able to smash open the top of the coffin. The wood is exploding, shattering around his hands. Dirt is raining down on him as he lets out a primal scream.
Patrick: AGGHHH!
