And so comes the end of not only The Crystal of Ang’Ba but issue #1 of the Book of Methuselah! Have no fear, there won’t be any time off taken before we jump into the next arc of stories.
On a side note it looks like I’ll be making an appearance at the Toronto Fan Appreciation convention this weekend, Saturday only, due to family commitments. I wonder if I’ll meet an fans?

The crystal in Henry’s hand is ablaze and a beam has shot out from it to engulf Lilitu. Lilitu is frozen in place as she becomes petrified. Her body has a stony appearance; her arms have come up reflexively to shield her. Her face is a mask of evil agony as she’s realized her doom.
Henry: Tis an artifact safeguarded by our Order and its final use shall be the weapon of your doom First Born!
Panel 2
The giant stone has formed where Lilitu once stood. She is nowhere to be seen within it. Henry and the other knight stand before it. Henry is looking down at his hands which hold fragments of the crystal which have broken apart after the release of energy. The other knight is staring in awe at the giant stone that has come into being before them.
Henry 1: It is done. The crystal is no more.
Knight: My God.
Henry 2: We shall place smaller stones around this and name the site accursed so that none shall dare disturb it for all time.

Henry: We have won a costly victory with much to celebrate and mourn in the days to follow. Come let us leave this place and see to the work that must be done.
