You know what real horror is? When your government enacts laws in secret, at the whim of the police, in the name of “national security” which effectively seek to limit your rights and freedoms. Read what I’m talking about here.

And you know what I hate. I hate when people say it’s not a big deal, I’ll show my ID to the police, I have nothing to hide. That tells me you don’t get it, you take your right to privacy too lightly. You shouldn’t have to show your ID when you walk down the street cause you’re five meters (roughly 30 ft for my American readers) from a fence. It’s still a public space, summit or no summit. They’ll claim it was done in the name of public. Public safety my ass, it’s a symbol that you are not apart of their process.

On a related note you should read 1984 and Brave New World, two of my favorite books. Also, check out this cover of Ohio by 4waystreet. Get educated. Become aware of history and of what’s going on around you. And never take for granted what you have because one day it might be taken away from you. And then you’ll know what real horror is.
